I bought FlowCup Flex 6 months ago and I have to say... once you get used to it, it almost doesn't feel like you're on your period anymore.

A game changer for periods. Why has this taken me 40 years to try. No more fuss, no more leaks night or day, no more uncomfortable pads/tampons, no more cramps.

FAQs

The menstrual cup creates a seal so the menstrual fluid stays in the cup and the water stays outside. You don’t need to remove the cup after swimming unless it needs to be emptied.

Always clean your menstrual cup before you use it for the first time and before each menstrual period. Boil your menstrual cup in a pot with water for five minutes or use the cleaning bag with 100 ml of water and microwave it at 750 watts for three minutes.

While on your period, rinse the cup with water after you've emptied it and insert again.

The FlowCups are made from 100% medical-grade silicone. The silicone in our cups is 100% hypoallergenic, 100% latex-free, 100% fragrance-free and 100% free from artificial colours. When we selected the silicone for the FlowCups, we chose a premium quality medical-grade silicone which is extra soft. Quality, safety and comfort has always been core values in our product development.

Environmental facts

By using our menstrual cups, you reduce the carbon footprint caused by disposable pads and tampons with 99% (- 8.6 kg CO2e). In addition, you reduce your household waste and prevent microplastics (reusable pads contain 90% plastic) from polluting the environment.

How to use your FlowCup

Happy with my purchase but if price increase I won’t buy

I absolutely love the cups however the pricing needs to be at a fair price and not keep increasing . It’s a competitive market and so as long as the pricing remains good this will be my first option of choice of cup . Eco friendly and overall can be uncomfortable as tip at the end I found to be sharp and can be uncomfortable but that may have been a bad batch I reordered a new one and it’s been fine . But overall I’m happy woth my purchase

This didn’t work for me

Ordered two flow cup flex’s when they were on offer. Unfortunately they weren’t fit for purpose and are unusable. They don’t open up once inserted. Such a shame as I bought them to be more sustainable and instead am going to have to bin them.

flowcup flex

I've bought the flexcup 6 months ago and I have to say... once you get used to it, it almost doesn't feel like you're on your period anymore. I use it with period underwear to be extra sure because I'm still not so good at placing it and I think it's the winning match, I haven't used tampons or pads since I had this.

Standard FlowCup better than Flex

Though Flex is new and even more expensive, it is not that great in creating suction. I realized that the basic one was better for the application. I don't even see the use of the shape. I recommend buying the basic cup, it's the best thing that happened to me for the period days.

Unusable

I bought 2 different ones based on the good reviews, however it's too big for me and hurts to insert. So for me personally, was a complete waste of money.
